Zoot Velasco is given "Preferred Specialist" status with OneOC
OneOC was founded originally in 1958 and served as the Volunteer Center Orange County until 2010, when the organization rebranded to become OneOC, signaling an expansion of services to charitable organizations across the county. Today OneOC has matured into the largest and most comprehensive of the 250 volunteer centers nationwide, partnering with Points of Light Institute, HandsOn Network and California Volunteers. In 2015, OneOC expanded its services to help companies build and grow their giving and employee volunteering programs. As part of it’s expanded services OneOC is the trainer of choice for Orange County’s social profit sector. This year the agency has added a way to recommend reputable and quality consultants who specialize in community benefit organizations.
Zoot Velasco has been recognized as one of these consultants. Zoot’s specialties include working with smaller organizations to grow their capacity, strategic planning, executive coaching, interim management, STEAM education consulting, leadership training, and correctional/institutional arts programs. Currently Zoot works with clients across, LA, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
