Graduation Day for High Desert Sustainability Initiative
Zoot was one of 5 executive coaches chosen by St. Joseph's Health Foundation Community Partnership Fund and the Olin Group, to provide sustainability training and executive coaching for 5 community benefit organizations in the high desert area of San Bernardino (Victorville and Apple Valley). For five months the CEOs of these organizations and their board chairs have been attending monthly trainings and have been coached to produce a sustainability plan. Today, They all graduated the program with finished plans and a gift of $10,000 each to continue the work.
Zoot mentored A Better Way, the Victorville domestic violence shelter, helping them as they start a new chapter with a new CEO and board president after the founder recently retired. The group underwent sustainability training, evaluation, board training, and goal setting over the past five months.
